The 6600 Scan Engine and NOTE: For information about the latest Scan Engine, see KB66741 - About the 6.x.xx Anti-Malware Scan Engine and KB92669 - About the 6700 Anti-Malware Scan Engine update for Endpoint Security. Standard Scan Engine EOL Policy: Scan Engines and their associated CLSs begin their EOL process after a new Scan Engine version is released. Upon release of the new Scan Engine version, the previous Scan Engine is supported for another six months. At the end of the six months, you can't receive any further support on the previous version. NOTE: If you have concerns or questions about the 6600 Scan Engine EOL, contact Technical Support. You can request to have your concerns sent to the Product Manager. To contact Technical Support, go to the Create a Service Request page and log on to the ServicePortal.
