After you upgrade to ePO 5.10.0 Updates 5 or 6, the IP sorting criteria don't work. Systems remain in the Lost and Found group.
This behavior is expected when
System tree Sorting is enabled based on IP addresses:
- Install a Mcafee Agent and allow it to communicate with the ePO Server.
- Systems are sorted based on the IP properties.
- The sorting is defined in the System tree, Sorting criteria, Systems, where sorting matches either the IP addresses or tags.
But, after the upgrade, the sorting fails and the systems remain in the
Lost and found group.
When a manual
Test sort is undertaken:
- Select a system.
- Click Actions, Directory Management, Test sort.
- The correct group is displayed where it's expected to be located.
If a manual
Sort now is undertaken:
- Select a system.
- Click Actions, Directory Management, Sort Now.
- The system is correctly moved to the expected group.
