Summary
This article describes how ACC behaves during import of a third-party certificate from one ePO server to another.
Problem
When the ACC policy that contains Solidcore rules with a third-party certificate is exported from one ePO server to another, the certificate doesn't display in the Policy Catalog.
Cause
This behavior is by design.
When a certificate is uploaded to ePO, ePO assigns an internal ID to it. The ID is unique to each ePO server. When the policy with the certificate is exported, the certificate retains the ID that it's assigned. When the policy is imported, the ID of the certificate doesn't match that of the new ePO server. As a result, the certificate doesn't display in the Policy Catalog.
Solution
To complete the import process, open the imported policy in Policy Catalog, and click Save.
