Environment

Application Control and Change Control (ACC) for Linux 6.4, 6.3.0-794

Linux 6, 5
SUSE Linux 11 (32-bit only)

Problem

Uninstallation fails in the following situation:

The system is upgraded from 6.3.0-724 in LEL5 32-bit, LEL6 32-bit, and LSES11 32-bit.
ACC for Linux 6.3.0-794 or 6.4 is then uninstalled.

Cause

An issue in the installation process prevents the install scripts from properly handling some required file operations. This issue leads to a corrupt cleanup.

Solution

This issue is resolved in ACC 6.4.1.

Workaround

As a workaround, run the following commands to uninstall:

/opt/bitrock/solidcoreS3-6.3.0-724/helperBinaryUninstall
rpm -e solidcoreS3-6.3.0-794.i386 --noscripts
rpm -e solidcoreS3-kmod-6.3.0-794.i386 --noscripts
