Scheduled on-demand scans do not run due to incorrect "AssignedTasks" value
Technical Articles ID:
KB92071
Last Modified: 2023-02-07 22:08:14 Etc/GMT Environment
Endpoint Security (ENS) Threat Prevention 10.7.0, 10.6.1
Problem
After an upgrade to ENS 10.6.1 or ENS 10.7.0, scheduled on-demand scan (ODS) tasks do not run.
Cause
The ENS upgrade scripts incorrectly modify the existing ODS tasks, leaving the previous version data in the "AssignedTasks" value. The ODS tasks can then no longer be called.
Solution
This issue is resolved in ENS 10.6.1 December 2019 Update and ENS 10.7.0 April 2020 Update. Our product software, upgrades, maintenance releases, and documentation are available on the Product Downloads site.
NOTE: You need a valid Grant Number for access. See KB56057 - How to download product updates and documentation for more information about the Product Downloads site, and alternate locations for some products. Workaround
Make any change to the ODS task and save it. The change to the task allows the task to run as expected.
