To resolve this issue, you need to update the back-end database user credentials using the
Migration_tool.bat file. This file is located in the installation directory.
To update the username and password, perform the following steps:
- Stop the currently running Database Security service.
- Click Start, Run, type cmd, and then click OK.
- Navigate to C:\Program Files (x86)\McAfee\McAfee Database Security\bin
- Run the migration_tool.bat file.
- Select Validate when prompted to select an action. It loads the properties specified in the server-custom.properties file.
- Enter the updated username and password when prompted.
NOTE: For Oracle database validation, enter the second username and password when prompted.
- Select the correct database driver or press Enter to accept the default driver.
- Enter the correct URL or press Enter to accept the default URL.
- Verify the server-custom.properties file when the validation process is complete.
- When prompted, click Yes to save the connection properties into the configuration file.
