Cannot interact with the options on the Server Settings, Active Directory Groups page
Technical Articles ID:
KB91237
Last Modified: 2023-07-27 05:32:22 Etc/GMT Environment
ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) 5.10.0, Update 1 or 2
Problem
In ePO 5.10, when multiple Active Directory (AD) servers for the same domain are registered, it's impossible to interact with the options on the Server Settings, AD groups page. It's impossible to select a preferred server. Instead, the first server listed alphabetically is chosen as the preferred server. An alternative registered LDAP server can't be selected or interacted with. System Change
Upgraded to or installed ePO 5.10.
Solution
This issue is resolved in ePolicy Orchestrator 5.10.0 Update 3, which is available from the Product Downloads site. NOTE: You need a valid Grant Number for access. To view other known and resolved issues, see KB90382 - ePolicy Orchestrator 5.10.x Known Issues. Workaround
Because the preferred registered server is chosen based on the order it appears within the list of registered servers, it's possible to rename the preferred registered server within the Server Settings - Registered Servers page. NOTE: This change does not impact the configuration of the server itself; the name is used only for display purposes within the ePO console.
