Server task actions affect unexpected systems when run against ePolicy Orchestrator queries using sorting
Technical Articles ID:
KB91204
Last Modified: 2023-07-27 04:49:19 Etc/GMT Environment
ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) 5.10.0, 5.9.x
ProblemServer tasks configured to complete multiple subactions against the results of a sorted query produce different results.
For example, suppose that a server task is configured to run a query that sorts systems based on their 'Last Communication time'. The query is also configured with subactions to Export to File and Move Systems. The task actions result in different systems being moved compared to those exported to the file. 'Last Communication time' indicates the most recent communication.
Cause
Results aren't sorted as expected when passed to a secondary subaction within a server task.
