New tags are not available in the Cloud Workload Security user interface after a successful sync

Environment

Cloud Workload Security (CWS) 5.3

CWS components:

Cloud Workload Security for Microsoft Azure
Cloud Workload Security for Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Problem

New public imported tags that are created using a custom field do not appear in the CWS user interface after a sync.

The ePO Tag Catalog shows that the tags were imported successfully.

The issue is only seen after the ePO server has been upgraded.

Workaround

Delete and readd the cloud account:

Remove the ePO System Tree for the corresponding Cloud Account.
Remove the new public tags from Tags Catalog.
Delete the registered cloud accounts for the tags that have not imported. Re-register the same account, and add the public tags during registration.
Wait for the successful sync to complete.

Public tags are imported in the CWS user interface.
