A driver change released in
DE 7.2.7.7 and
DE 7.2.6.11 Hotfix 1247725 addressed a similar defect related to systems with multiple hard drives. The change that was made introduced this secondary related defect, which occurs when six or more partitions are found on the primary disk.
To test whether this issue is present on a live system, perform the following steps before you perform a system restart:
- Open a command prompt with elevated permissions.
- Click Start.
- In the Start Search field, type cmd, and then press Ctrl+Shift+Enter.
- If the User Account Control dialog window appears, confirm that the action it displays is what you want, and then click Continue.
- Type the following in the Administrator Command Prompt window:
