Newly added systems are placed in the root of the Lost & Found folder in ePolicy Orchestrator 5.10
Technical Articles ID:
KB91001
Last Modified: 8/16/2023 Environment
ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) 5.10.0, ePO 5.10 Update 1–4
Problem
When a system communicates with ePO for the first time, ePO tries to place it in the correct location in the System Tree. If it's unable to find a matching location, it places the system in the Lost & Found group, in a subgroup with the name of the client's Domain or Workgroup. In ePO 5.10, the client system entry is incorrectly placed in the root of the Lost & Found group, not in the Domain or Workgroup subgroup. Solution
This issue is resolved in ePolicy Orchestrator 5.10.0 Update 5, which is available from the Product Downloads site. NOTE: You need a valid Grant Number to access the update.
