Endpoint Intelligence Agent (EIA) 2.6.2 Endpoint Intelligence Manager (EIM) 2.6.2 ePO extension Problem
You see your ePO server experience 100% CPU utilization. On investigation, you see that many SQL requests are being received.
Cause
Your network has many EIA clients. The EIA clients request SSL certificates but the EIM extension fails to fetch them from the database. The EIM ePO extension doesn't close SQL connections properly, resulting in exhaustion of SQL connections and 100% CPU usage. Solution
This issue was resolved in the EIA 2.6.3 extension.
Workaround
Remove the EIM 2.6.2 extension from the ePO server and install the EIM 2.6.0 extension. NOTE: There's no change needed on the EIA clients.
