Network IP address in the Firewall Catalog isn't pushed to the endpoint

Environment

Endpoint Security (ENS) Firewall 10.6.x extension

Problem

After you add an IP address to a network in the Firewall Catalog and enforce policy, the policy on the endpoint doesn't display the new IP address.

Cause

There's an extension issue that causes the updated network to not populate in the policy on the endpoint.

Solution

This issue is resolved in ENS 10.6.1 December 2018 Update.

Workaround

To work around the issue:

Add an IP address to a network in the Firewall Catalog.
View the firewall policy and find the rule for the endpoint.
Open the Remote Network section of the rule. Observe that the new IP address displays.
Click Save in the bottom-right corner.
From the ENS console McAfee Agent Status Monitor, check for and enforce new policies. The policy on the endpoint displays the new IP address.
