Problem

When you try to save data collected with Windows Performance Recorder (WPR), the following error displays:

The system collector properties does not match with the internal state.

Solution

Download the latest Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit (ADK) 8.1. Install the latest patch for Windows Performance Toolkit (WPT) 8.1 included in the Windows ADK distribution. At the time of publication of this article, the latest WPT 8.1 patch is: \Patches\8.100.26866\WPTx64-x86_en-us.msp.
