NOTE: CWS was formerly known as Cloud Workload Discovery.
To enable debug logging, and have it recorded in the ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO)
orion.log:
- Edit the file log-config.xml:
- Click Start, Run, type explorer, and click OK.
- Navigate to the ePO installation directory: ..\ePO_Directory_Path\Server\conf\orion\log-config.xml
- Add the following above the last line (</log4j:configuration>):
<logger name="com.mcafee.scor">
<level value="debug"/>
</logger>
<logger name="com.mcafee.mdcc">
<level value="debug"/>
</logger>
<logger name="com.mcafee.XXXX">
<level value="debug"/>
</logger>
NOTE: Make sure that you replace XXXX as follows:

- Save the log-config.xml file.
- Reproduce the issue.
- Obtain a copy of the ePO orion.log and email Technical Support.
- To stop debug logging, restore log-config.xml
- Edit the log-config.xml and remove the lines you added in step 1c.
- Save the file.
