Some applications fail to function correctly when third-party antivirus/antimalware software is installed. The issue occurs when the Exploit Prevention feature of the ENS Threat Prevention module is enabled. Some examples of application failures include:
- Microsoft Office applications such as Word or Excel might fail to start and might not spawn a process in Task Manager.
- Adobe applications do not open PDF files.
- Web browsers (for example, Internet Explorer) do not load pages.
