NOTE: In every
VSCore SDK package, the
VTP.BIN file (
McAfeeCerts.xml) is included in the
sdk\amd64rel\tools and sdk\release\tools directories.
Re-establish the VTP trust on the client:
- Determine if %COMMONPROGRAMFILES%\McAfee\SystemCore\vtpinfo.exe exists and take the appropriate action:
- If vtpinfo.exe exists, continue to step 2.
- If vtpinfo.exe doesn't exist, reinstall MA.
- Copy McAfeeCerts.xml, extracted from the VSCore SDK package, into a temporary directory on the client (example c:\McAfeeCerts).
- Start the command-line interface.
- Run the following command and press Enter:
%COMMONPROGRAMFILES%\McAfee\SystemCore\vtpinfo.exe /setsearchpath c:\<path>
Replace
<path> with the temporary directory containing the
McAfeeCerts.xml file created in step 2.
- Run the following command and press Enter:
%COMMONPROGRAMFILES%\McAfee\SystemCore\vtpinfo.exe /loadcerts
