Last Modified: 2023-03-20 20:53:37 Etc/GMT EnvironmentEndpoint Security (ENS) Threat Prevention 10.x
ProblemWith ENS Threat Prevention installed, the user roaming profiles are sporadically not saved to a network share when a user logs off.
CauseThe ENS Threat Prevention module scans the user profile data as it is saved, which causes the roaming profile data to not save correctly.
SolutionCurrently a root cause can't be found on Windows 7. If you experience the issue with Windows 8 or Windows 10, see this Microsoft article on troubleshooting user profiles to obtain more logging through the operating system to help investigate the root cause.
Provide the results to Technical Support:To contact Technical Support, go to the Create a Service Request page and log on to the ServicePortal.
WorkaroundCreate an exclusion in ENS Threat Prevention to not scan the roaming profile folders on the server. Even with this workaround in place, ENS Threat Prevention occasionally interferes with the writing of the roaming profile data.
