When you convert VMDK to IMG, don't enter special characters in the Image Name field. Technical Support recommends that you use only alphabetical and numeric characters.
If you've already converted VMDK images to IMG format using the special characters, delete the image and then convert it again without using special characters.
To delete the IMG image format from ATD/IS:
- Log on to the web application using the administrator user account.
- Navigate to Policy, VM Profile.
- Click New.
- Select the image that has special characters from the Image drop-down list.
NOTE: The image name has the operating system identifier followed by an underscore ( _ ) as a separating character, and your Image Name. For example, if you convert Windows 7 SP1 64-bit VM and enter yourVMname in Image Name, it's listed as win7sp1x64_yourVMname. Don't be confused by the separating character, which isn't a part of your VM Image Name.
- Click Delete.
- Click Yes on the confirmation dialog.
- Click OK on the success dialog.
- Click Cancel.
