McAfee Agent (MA) 5.x ProblemWhen MA is installed on the ePO server, it tries to communicate continuously with ePO, and appears to be in an infinite loop.
CauseWhen the ePO server sends a
MA receives this IP address configuration and communicates with the wrong IP address on the ePO server. SolutionThere's no solution available. ePO binds to the first IP address of a Network Adapter returned by RPC. Network Adapters can be prioritized, but can't guarantee that RPC will always return the first Network Adapter's IP address.
WorkaroundManually specify the IP address that MA uses to communicate with the ePO server:
