OneDrive for Business Support
FRP 5.0 and later versions offer limited support for location-based encryption for Microsoft OneDrive for Business, with the following exceptions:
- Location-based encryption of Microsoft OneDrive for Business only supports the Enforce Encryption protection level.
- Location-based encryption of Microsoft OneDrive for Business is only supported when used with Microsoft Office 2010.
IMPORTANT: FRP 5.0 and later. With Microsoft OneDrive for Business and Microsoft Office 2013, or later versions of Microsoft Office, isn’t supported.
- Location-based encryption of Microsoft OneDrive for Business
FRP 5.4.0 and earlier
Location-based encryption of Microsoft OneDrive for Business is also not supported on Windows 10 version 1803 (April 2018 Update) or later.
FRP 5.4.1 and later
An enforce decryption policy is applied for One Drive For Business, on a client running Windows 10 version 1709 or later. Irrespective of the One Drive for Business Cloud Provider policy set in ePO
OneDrive Support
FRP 5.0 and later. Support location-based encryption for Microsoft OneDrive with all versions of Microsoft Office 2010 and later, with the following exceptions:
- FRP 5.4.0 and earlier
Location-based encryption of Microsoft OneDrive isn’t supported on Windows 10 version 1803 (April 2018 Update) or later.
FRP 5.4.1 and later
An enforce decryption policy is applied for OneDrive, on a client running Windows 10 version 1709 or later. Irrespective of the OneDrive Cloud Provider policy set in ePO.
