DETech requests an authorization code of the day for an earlier date

Problem

You're unable to complete the authorization stage when using the DETech recovery tool.

After booting a system using DETech, when trying to authorize with the current code of the day provided by the Tech Code Generator tool, DETech requests a code for an earlier date.

Because the code of the day of the current date isn't associated with the earlier date, it causes the authorization to fail. If you try to authorize with the code of the day associated with the requested date, it also fails.

Cause

The system date defined in the BIOS is incorrect.

Solution

Restart the system, access the BIOS, and then manually change the date to the current date and save the configuration.

It's now possible to successfully complete the authorization when booting the system from DETech.
