ProblemThe On Screen Keyboard (OSK) doesn't accept any input on a DT Research DT315CT during preboot authentication.
After enabling USB support, see KB78050 - How to use the Drive Encryption UEFI testing tool to verify if your tablet responds to the touch interface. Both of the following encryption policy options are enabled:
CauseSystem properties show that these devices are in Advanced Host Controller Interface mode in the BIOS. Support for Touch Screen Tablets requires the system to be running a UEFI.
SolutionAccess the BIOS and change it to use UEFI.
