To configure RMM for appliance model ATD-3200 and ATD-6200:
- Reboot the appliance.
- Press F2 while the Appliance is booting to access your BIOS Settings.
- Select Server Management and press Enter.
- Navigate to BMC LAN Configuration, and locate Dedicated Management LAN Configuration.
Confirm that Remote Management Module is shown as <Present> in grayed text.
- Configure the RMM Network settings:
- Navigate to IP Source, press Enter, and select Static.
- Navigate to IP Address and type the needed IP address.
- Navigate to Subnet Mask and type the needed Subnet Mask.
- Navigate to Gateway IP and type the needed Gateway IP.
- Navigate to User Configuration, press Enter, and select the root account.
- Navigate to User Status, press Enter, and then select Enabled.
- Navigate to User Password and press Enter.
- Type a new password for the root account, press Enter, and confirm the password.
- Press Enter.
- Save the changes:
Press F10 and then press Enter.
To configure RMM for appliance model ATD-3100 and ATD-6100:
- Reboot the appliance.
- Press F2 while the Appliance is booting to access your BIOS Settings.
- Select Server Management and press Enter.
- Navigate to BMC LAN Configuration and locate Intel (R) RMM4 LAN configuration.
- Configure the RMM Network settings:
- Navigate to IP Source, press Enter, and select Static.
- Navigate to IP Address and type the needed IP address.
- Navigate to Subnet Mask and type the needed Subnet Mask.
- Navigate to Gateway IP and type the needed Gateway IP.
- Navigate to User Configuration, press Enter, and select the root account.
- Navigate to User Status, press Enter, and then select Enabled.
- Navigate to User Password and press Enter.
- Type a new password for the root account, press Enter, and confirm the password.
- Press Enter.
- Save the changes:
Press F10 and then press Enter.
To log on to the RMM interface:
- Open a new web browser session.
- In the address bar, type https://<IP Address>, where <IP Address> is the IP address assigned to the RMM interface.
- For User, type root.
- For Password, type your password as configured in the BIOS settings.
NOTE: If you want to use Console Redirection in the RMM4 web interface, you must open certain ports. Make sure that you open ports 5120/TCP, 5123/TCP, and 7578/TCP on your firewall between your client PC and the RMM4 network interface. Console Redirection uses the Java applet, which establishes TCP connections to the RMM4 interface over those ports.
