Problem
You're unable to auto-create users. When this issue occurs, the ERROR [http-bio-8443-exec-13] nt.JcifsAuthenticator - Error performing NTLM authenticationjcifs.smb.SmbException: A duplicate name exists on the network. DEBUG [http-bio-8443-exec-13] nt.JcifsAuthenticator - NTLM auth using domain controller:XXX.XXX.com/X.X.X.X Cause
A user account tries to authenticate from a domain that ePO doesn't belong to. Two-way trust doesn't exist between the domain that ePO belongs to and the domain that the user account belongs to.
Solution
To enable Windows Authentication, rename the NOTE: Instructions to configure and enable Windows Authentication are available in the ePO Product Guides. This task must be performed on the ePO server.

If a user is configured with Windows Authentication instead of ePO authentication and is unable to log on, verify the following:
