Environment

Skyhigh Web Gateway (SWG)

Problem

SWG can't handle FTP traffic over HTTP after you enable IP aliases under Configuration, Appliances, Network Interfaces.

Solution

Use one of the following options to restart the SWG core process:

Log on to the command line using SSH and execute the following command:

service mwg-core restart

NOTE: The SWG Appliance is unavailable while the mwg-core service is restarted. Plan this change accordingly.
Reboot the Appliance using the user interface.
