SummaryThis support statement is provided by the Product Management Team. DE 7.1.3 Hotfix 1131996 (Build 7.1.3.590) With this release, USB 3.0 is also supported when the system is in Legacy BIOS mode (implemented to support Intel® Skylake chipsets). To review the hotfix release notes, see PD26487. For details about obtaining this publicly posted hotfix, see the "Related Information" section. IMPORTANT: The following policy option must be enabled: DE 7.1 With the release of DE 7.1 and later, USB 3.0 is supported when the BIOS is in native UEFI mode. But, it's supported only if the hardware vendor has implemented the required protocols.
