This article outlines the steps to take when manually configuring an NTP server within the SIEM environment.
Use the following steps to manually set the time to GMT on the ESM:
- Go to System, Properties, System Information, and click the System Clock (GMT) link.
- Deselect the Use NTP to automatically update the clock option.
- Click the Calendar option and set the time to GMT manually.
Point all other Nitro devices to the ESM as the NTP server. The following example describes how to configure the ESM as the NTP server for a Receiver:
- Go to Receiver, Properties, Receiver Configuration, NTP.
- Enter the IP address of the ESM and click OK.
- Go to the Receiver Information page and click Sync next to Sync Receiver Clock.
