Environment

SIEM Enterprise Security Manager (ESM) 11.x

Problem

You occasionally see the following message in the ESM user interface:

A partition from the flow table has been deleted xx times.

Where xx is a number, such as 35.

Solution

This message is an Informational flag and can be cleared, unlike other Critical red flags.

This message indicates that the flow partition of the database has reached capacity. It is rolling off the oldest flow data to make room for the newest flow data.
