On all systems, the recovery procedure provides the same Challenge Code: Client action: When you authenticate at Preboot, and click Recovery, Administrative Recovery, you see the Client Code or Challenge Code.
ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) console action: Click Menu, Data protection, Encryption Recovery, and type the Challenge Code from the PC.
CauseAll clients were built from an image where DE was already installed and activated (encrypted or not encrypted).
SolutionThis design is an integral part of the product and can't be changed.
