Endpoint Security (ENS) Threat Prevention Clients, 10.7.0 November 2022 and earlier Endpoint Security (ENS) 10.7.0 April 2023 extensions in ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) Summary
Recent updates to this article
Problem
Exploit prevention exclusions stop working. Exclusions added from ePO don't reflect in the client. System Change
You upgraded the ENS extension to the latest version.
Cause
Both the Threat Prevention ePO Extension and the Threat Prevention client have been updated and the Exclusion Parameters format has changed. Old clients with the new extension won't correctly reflect Exclusions until the client is updated. Note: For more information on best practices around editing policies, see the ENS 10.7.0 June 2022 Update Release Notes. Solution
Upgrade the client version to the April 2023 Update or later, if ePO is running with the latest Extensions.
