Installing, uninstalling, or upgrading the Skyhigh Client Proxy to 4.3.x, 4.4.x, or 4.5.0 causes connection failures during the process

Environment

Skyhigh Client Proxy (SCP)

Problem

When you install, uninstall, or update SCP 4.3.x, 4.4.x, or 4.5.0, you see disconnections during the installation or update process.
These disconnections also affect existing VPN connections.

Cause

These disconnections are due to the NTK driver installation, which is part of the mentioned SCP version and can last from 1–10 seconds.

Solution

NOTE: Any future product functionality or releases mentioned in the Knowledge Base are intended to outline our general product direction and should not be relied on, either as a commitment, or when making a purchasing decision.

A hotfix without NTK drivers will be delivered before the end of 2022.
A new SCP version with a different driver is planned for 2023.
NOTE: The SCP version without an NTK driver won't support Private Access (ZTNA).
