Does not match MVISION Console AAD (when you add InTune MDM to Mobile Security)

Environment

Mobile Security 4.28.14 and later

Microsoft InTune

Problem

An error similar to the following displays when you add InTune Mobile Device Management (MDM) to Mobile Security:

Does not match MVISION Console AAD

To add InTune MDM within the Mobile Security console, go to Manage, Integrations, Add MDM. Select Microsoft InTune and start the configuration. When you click Add to Azure Active Directory and enter your Azure credentials, the error occurs, similar to that shown below.

NOTE: This issue only affects new integrations with InTune. Current integrations don't have this problem, including Zimperium connectors.

Cause

Technical Support is investigating this issue. If you experience this issue, log on to the ServicePortal and create a Service Request. Include this article number in the Problem Description field.

Workaround

Manually provide administrator consent to the Mobile Security console before you add the InTune integration:

Log off from the Mobile Security console.
Copy and paste the following URL in a browser window:
https://login.microsoftonline.com/common/adminconsent?client_id=83019837-9baf-4084-87d8-84520597c31f&redirect_uri=https://console.mcafee-mvision-mobile.com

NOTE: Don't modify the URL above.
Accept the permissions requested for the Mobile Security console. After you accept the permissions, you're redirected to the Mobile Security console logon.
Close that tab and log on to your Mobile Security console instance in a new tab.
Create the InTune integration in the Mobile Security console by granting permission consent to all three apps: Mobile Security console, iOS app, and Android app.
