The McAfee Agent installation process fails on Windows platforms.
The issue is seen when the installation or data directories are configured to be case sensitive. The administrator must enable this option as part of the Windows Subsystem for Linux (WSL).
The
mfeagent.msi log records an error message similar to the following:
