Targeted On-Demand Scan

Problem

The MOVE for Multi-platform on-demand scan (ODS) summary shows the scan running, even when the scan is stopped.

You see this issue when the following conditions exist:

The system is abruptly shut down.
The system is restarted during an on-demand scan.
The MOVE service is stopped or restarted.

The ODS log shows that the scan isn't completed.

This issue is seen with both Scheduled and Targeted ODS.

Cause

This behavior is expected when an ODS doesn't complete for any of the reasons mentioned in the "Problem" field.

The ePolicy Orchestrator reports only show the status of the completed ODS.

Only the local system records the correct status of the ODS.
