McAfee Agent on macOS 11 is reported incorrectly as macOS 10.16

Environment

McAfee Agent 5.7.1, 5.7.0
McAfee Agent 5.6.6 Hotfix 1 (build 5.6.6.290) - General Availability (GA)
McAfee Agent 5.6.6 Hotfix 1 (build 5.6.6.263) - Released to Support (RTS)

Apple macOS 11.0 (Big Sur)

Problem

When you install McAfee Agent 5.6.6 Hotfix 1 or later on a macOS system that runs macOS 11.0 (Big Sur), it is reported back incorrectly to ePO as macOS 10.16.

You see this issue under the Operating System computer properties.

Cause

This issue is expected if apps are developed with a 10.x version of the Macintosh XCODE. McAfee Agent is compiled with XCODE SDK 10.14

Solution

This issue is resolved in McAfee Agent 5.7.2, which is available from either the ePO Software Manager, or the Product Downloads site.
