Exported Queries and Reports are blank and missing the incident details

Environment

Data Loss Prevention (DLP) ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) Extension 11.7, 11.6, 11.5, and 11.4
ePO 5.10 Update 11, 10, 7

Problem

You observe the following after you install an ePO 5.10 Update:

The Queries and Reports page is blank for the exported DLP Endpoint queries.
The incident details are missing.

You see this issue only in CSV or PDF exports.

NOTE: Other available export types export successfully. For example, XML and HTML.

Cause

Information isn't being passed properly to a UDLP query builder function. This issue results in blank reports when you export data in CSV or PDF format.

Solution 1

This issue is resolved in the DLP 11.6.400.5 Extension.

NOTE: The DLP 11.7 management extension doesn't include the fix that resolves the issue described in this article. See "Solution 2" below.

IMPORTANT:

If you've previously encountered this issue and received a fix, the issue reoccurs when you apply ePO 5.10 Update 11, and before you update the DLP extension.
If the issue above has already occurred, update the extension to DLP 11.6.400.5. Doing so prevents a reoccurrence of this issue after you apply ePO 5.10 Update 11.

Solution 2

If you've installed the DLP management extension 11.7, download and install the management extension DLP 11.7.100.

Workaround

Export the report to HTML or XML format rather than CSV or PDF. This issue occurs only when you export a report to CSV or PDF formats.
