You observe the issue described in this article when the following conditions are true:
- ENSM 10.6.2 or later is installed on a macOS system.
- Outdated Scan Engine is present.
- The following versions of MA are installed on the system:
- MA 5.6.5 Hotfix 1 and earlier
- MA 5.6.4 Hotfix 1 and earlier
- MA 5.6.3 Hotfix 2 and earlier
- MA 5.6.2.
A Scan Engine upgrade fails on the system.
Example: ENSM 10.6.2 is installed with a Scan Engine version of
6000. MA 5.6.2 is also installed. A task to upgrade the Scan Engine to version
6010 fails.
