Upgrade of an unmanaged McAfee Agent 5.6 system removes user added repositories

Environment

McAfee Agent (MA) 5.6.0 to 5.6.3

Problem

Previously configured custom user repositories are lost when you upgrade an unmanaged system.

You see this issue when McAfee Agent to 5.6.x is upgraded using the switch /install=updater.

Solution

This issue is resolved in McAfee Agent 5.7.4, which is available from either the ePO Software Manager or the Product Downloads site.

NOTE: You need a valid Grant Number to access the update.

Workaround

You can upgrade using the /upgrade switch instead.

For example:

FramePkg_UPD.exe /upgrade
