Application and Change Control (ACC) 8.x Active Response 2.x Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) 3.x Microsoft Windows Problem
The EDR and or Active Response search feature is prevented from running scripts when ACC is enabled. The following error is recorded in the Cause
Execution Control in ACC 8.x added default Execution Control Rules and McAfee rule groups. These rule groups need to be updated to allow the newer version to run.
Solution
This issue is fixed in ACC extensions 8.2.6 and 8.3. Our product software, upgrades, maintenance releases, and documentation are available on the Product Downloads site.
