State column displays 'Not applied' after making an edit to policy on a single system
Technical Articles ID:
KB91595
Last Modified: 2023-07-28 10:45:47 Etc/GMT Environment
ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) 5.9.x, 5.10.0, Updates 1–4
Problem
When you select a single system from the system tree, modify the policy to add the State column, and then save the configuration. The State column for that system shows the following: NOTE: For the same system, if you go to Actions, Directory Management, and view the assigned policies, it shows the correct State as Applied. CauseThe ePO console user interface doesn't get the correct data for the State column from the server.
This issue is cosmetic and doesn't stop the policy from being applied to the client system.
Solution
This issue is resolved in ePolicy Orchestrator 5.10.0 Update 5, which is available from the Product Downloads site. NOTE: You need a valid Grant Number to access the update. To view other known and resolved issues, see KB90382 - ePolicy Orchestrator 5.10.x Known Issues. WorkaroundDon't use the State column under the "Edit Policies" section until a solution is provided.
