SCENARIO 1:
After you upgrade Database Security to 4.6.6 Update 1 (4.6.6-53666) or later, you configure a report to generate the output in
.doc, .rtf, or
.xml formats.
NOTE: From Database Security 4.8.4, Rich Text Format (
.rtf) reporting is no longer supported.
When you run the report, you receive an empty, zero-byte file document. In the
mfe_dbs.log (or
mfe-dbs.log on Linux), you also see events such as the following:
ERROR [http-8443-Processor24 com.monolith.web.service.ReportServiceSupport] - Fail to generate report org.eclipse.birt.report.engine.api.UnsupportedFormatException: The output format pdf is not supported.
You can generate reports in HTML and Excel formats.
SCENARIO 2:
After you upgrade Database Security to 4.6.6 Update 1 (4.6.6-53666) or later, you try to run a Scan Tests report (Click
VA Scan,
VA Scan Result Summary,
Generate Report on one of the Result Summaries, For
Report Type Select the
Scan Tests option, Click
Create Report) either on PDF or HTML formats.
When you run the report on HTML format, it loads a blank page, whereas when you run it on PDF format, it pops up an error. In the
mfe_dbs.log (or
mfe-dbs.log on Linux), you also see the following:

However, you can generate Scan Summary reports.
