ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) 5.10.0 Update 1–2
Problem
When a permission set-based user tries to edit the policy assignment of a multi-slot based policy, such as Host Intrusion Prevention IPS Rules, the following message displays in the console:
NOTE: A permission set-based user is any user that isn’t a global administrator. The Application Server (Tomcat) log System Change
You installed ePO 5.10.0 or upgraded to ePO 5.10 Update 1, or 2.
Solution
This issue is resolved in ePolicy Orchestrator 5.10.0 Update 3, which is available from the Product Downloads site. NOTE: You need a valid Grant Number for access. To view other known and resolved issues, see KB90382 - ePolicy Orchestrator 5.10.x Known Issues. Workaround
Modify the multi-slot policy assignment using an account with global administrator rights.
