Environment

ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) 5.10.0, 5.9.x, 5.3.x

Problem

When you check in bundles with extension dependencies, the dependent extensions can be indefinitely listed as "Updating."

Although the extension installation is successful, because the extension is labeled as "Updating," you receive an error when you try to uninstall the extension using the Software Manager.

Workaround

To reset the ePO console from showing the updating status, perform the following:

Press Windows+R, type services.msc, and click OK.
Restart the ePO services. Right-click the following services and select Stop and then Start:
- McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator x.x.x Event Parser
- McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator x.x.x Server
- McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator x.x.x Application Server
Close the services window.

If the uninstall issue is still present in the Software Manager, uninstall the extension from the Extensions page.
