GTI communication error occurs between server and client with Application and Change Control installed

Environment

Application and Change Control (ACC) 8.x, 7.x
ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) 5.9.1, 5.3.3
Azul Java (OpenJDK)

Problem

An error occurs with the GTI connection between the ePO server and a client, with ACC installed. The following error appears in the Orion log:

2018-01-12 09:09:38,405 ERROR [scheduler-InternalTask-thread-11] internalTask.FetchCloudDetailsTask - Exception occurred while fetching hash details from Cloud.
com.mcafee.scor.cloud.CloudException: An error in communication with the cloud

Cause

The cause of this issue is contained in the Orion log error:

javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: Server chose TLSv1, but that protocol version is not enabled or not supported by the client.

Solution

This issue is corrected in the ACC 8.0.0 Hotfix 5 and later. Technical Support recommends that you upgrade to one of these versions if possible.
