Endpoint Security (ENS) Web Control 10.x

Problem

ENS Web Control can block or warn about webpages because of rating actions, settings, or the site being on the prohibited list policy. Sometimes webpage content displays before ENS Web Control shows the block or warn page in the browser.

Cause

ENS Web Control doesn't delay the loading of webpage content while it waits for the site rating information. The content of the browser and the rating lookup are asynchronous.

Solution

This behavior is expected. ENS Web Controls acts only after it has obtained a rating from the Global Threat Intelligence (GTI) rating servers. Sometimes the rating is obtained after the page has begun to load.

To submit a new product idea, go to the Enterprise Customer Product Ideas page.

Click Sign In and enter your ServicePortal User ID and password. If you do not yet have a ServicePortal or Community account, click Register to register for a new account on either website.
