Help file displays in a non-default browser

Environment

Endpoint Security (ENS) 10.x

Problem

ENS starts the application associated with the .html extension. If the default browser isn't associated with the .html extension, a different browser opens.

Solution

To associate the .html extension with the default browser, do the following:

Open Windows Explorer and navigate to the file with the .html extension.
Right-click the file and choose Open With.
Select the browser you want to have open the Help file.
Click Save. The Help file now opens in the default browser.
