RTS=Released to Support
The following table contains the workstation and server operating systems supported for MAR clients.
Only the most current versions are included because most customers upgrade to the latest service packs shortly after they're released.
The Trace module is available on Microsoft Windows and macOS (Beta release) systems only.
NOTE: MAR 2.1 and earlier don't support environments where two or more ePO servers have bridged DXL hubs.
1 ePO Cloud Bridge extension 1.3.0.107 is the minimum required version for ePO 5.10 Update 11 or later.
1 RTS = Release to Support
IMPORTANT: If you install MAR 2.2.0 or later in a multiple ePO server environment, you must upgrade all your DXL components to 4.0. If you're operating in a single-server environment, you only need to update the extensions to 4.0. The reason is because DXL 3.x.x clients are compatible with those versions of MAR, but only in a single ePO server environment.
In a single ePO server environment, you only need to upgrade the DXL extensions to DXL 4.0, while the DXL endpoint clients can remain on DXL 3.x. But, if you have multiple ePO servers deployed, MAR 2.2.0 and later requires that all DXL components are upgraded to DXL 4.0 version.
Use the following table to determine your minimum DXL components based on your ePO environment:
NOTE: If you stay on the 3.1.x broker, the Health Status page alerts you that you have an out-of-date broker. This alert can be disregarded.
MAR client:
MAR client supports any virtualization solution, assuming the following criteria are met:

MAR client supports any virtualization solution, assuming the following criteria are met:
- MAR client and required dependencies (DXL, MA, Endpoint Security) support the operating system being virtualized.
- The virtualization solution is a supported solution from the virtualization solution vendor. So, the solution isn't EOL, beta, or an otherwise unsupported virtualization solution.
- The virtualization solution supports the operating system being virtualized. To confirm operating system support, see the virtualization solution documentation.
- The virtualization solution runs under full virtualization or
paravirt mode, if supported.
