Unable to attach an encrypted file to Lotus Notes

You see the following error when you drag an FRP-encrypted file into Lotus Notes 7 client:

IBM Lotus Notes

File does not exist: <path>\<file_name>

The file becomes decrypted after you drag it.

This problem is reported if the Lotus notes editor process (nlnotes.exe) is blocked in the Encryption Options policy.

To request that this feature is implemented in a future release, submit a product idea.

To submit a new product idea, go to the Enterprise Customer Product Ideas page.

Click Sign In and enter your ServicePortal User ID and password. If you do not yet have a ServicePortal or Community account, click Register to register for a new account on either website.

Use the Add Attachment feature and browse to the file within the Lotus Notes email editor.
